Young Girl Shot After Reports Of 'Armed Person' At Baltimore School
Shortly after 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, an officer was flagged down by someone in the Govans area of North Baltimore, alerting them that there was an "armed person" at a nearby school, according to a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson.
Just moments later, police received a call that a 15-year-old girl had been shot in the 800 block of East 43rd Street near Walter P. Carter Elementary/Middle School.
Medics rushed to the scene and aided the victim, who was rushed into surgery at a nearby hospital.
Her condition is currently unknown. It is unclear whether or not the girl was shot at a school.
