Video Lands Teen Adult Charges For Red Lion Stabbing, PA State Police Say
Isaac Mason Blinke reportedly stabbed the older teen around 7:04 p.m. in the 200 block of West Broadway in Red Lion, PSP detailed in a release.
When first responders arrived at the reported assault "the 17-year-old victim was found with a stab wound in his torso," the state police said. The teen told the police, they had been in a had been in a fight when Isaac "brandished a knife and stabbed him in the torso," as stated in the release.
Surveillance video of the area backed up the victim's statement, troopers explained.
Troopers went to Isaac’s home and took him into custody.
He was found with "a silver folding knife and a small amount of marijuana," the police said.
The York County District Attorney’s Office was consulted by PSP; together they decided to charge Isaac as an adult.
He was charged with the following, according to the PSP release and confirmed by court documents:
Felony aggravated assault.
Misdemeanor simple assault.
Misdemeanor possession of an instrument of crime.
Misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person.
- Misdemeanor possession of a small amount of marijuana.
He was denied bail by Magisterial District Judge John Fishel as he "is a threat to flee and to the safety of the public,” as stated in court documents.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled before Judge Fishel at 9 a.m. on Nov. 8.
