Officials ID teen who drowned while swimming at Raystown Lake

Huntingdon County, PA — The victim of Saturday's drowning in Huntingdon County has been identified by local school district leaders.
Bellefonte Area High School Principal, Mike Fedisson, announcing that 16-year-old Nathan Dan was killed in a swimming accident at Raystown Lake.
Fedisson says Dan was a student at the school, and was most recently in athletics, including on the school's lacrosse team.
He says, "counseling services will be available for students and staff who may need assistance in coping with the loss.," adding, "we offer our deepest sympathies to Nathan's family."

A 16-year-old male found dead after state police say he drowned while swimming in Huntingdon County on Saturday.
Investigators say the incident happened around 5:15 p.m. in Penn Township, along the 7000 block of Susquehannock Road.
According to officials, the male went under water and did not resurface, prompting a search and recovery operation.
The county coroner and other local organizations assisted in the search.
