Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheatre has begun its $26.4 million renovation that will include a 30,000-square-foot visitors center, improvements for the disabled, added telecommunications features and an increase in power levels and water updates. This is its first upgrade since 1960.
During the construction period, Red Rocks will close September 2001 through May 2002, and reopen just in time for the 2002 summer season.
