Danny's hair - General Hospital
He’s a cute young kid, very good actor he’s proving, but I don’t know why the set hair stylists are flipping the front of his hair, his bangs, up into a flip. Kids don’t wear their hair that way, it just looks silly. I’m not actor bashing either he’s a great young actor. We can talk about Maxie’s hair so now I’m talking about the front of Danny’s hair. It’s hair sprayed that way. I see a lot of young teen actors in various shows, celebrity sightings, everywhere, so it’s not a new thing either. I think he’d look really cute if it got styled much more normal, combed back, or cut shorter.

It must be a popular style with young actors. When Jake and Danny were fighting over the vape pen (I don’t know if it is called a pen), Jake’s hair looked as if he had static electricity. When he talked with Finn his hair looked nicer.

I’ve never seen that on any young person or actor, I’m only seeing it now on the actor that portrays Danny. The spiked up hair one thing yes that’s popular but the perfect little flip in the front? No… It just doesn’t look good and it looks very feminine.

That style is actually quite popular right now.

I love Danny , he is a good mix of Sam ad Jason. I think the casting was perfect. Same for Jake, to me he looks like reenaged Jason.

I love Danny too, I just don’t like the way they style his hair. I also really adore Jake he is so sensible. Cam is awesome. Rocco we’re just getting to know. Violet is adorable, Leo is awesome, Emily Scout, Donna and Avery are sweeties, I like Joss even though a lot of people don’t, Trina is so lovable. Charlotte? Well, no. But then that’s the part she’s playing they can’t all be nice.

Prema March 13, 2024, 3:30pm 7This thread made me chuckle. I’m always telling my boys to use a brush, but they want to use their fingers to comb their hair. They both have my thick head of hair. Truly beautiful locks. God only knows how it end up the way it does without a hairbrush.

Interesting. I was wondering if it was back…was it the late 90s, early 00’s when all the boys were wearing their hair that way? I remember both my boys doing their hair that way.

Really? I’ve never seen it, it looks girlish but oh well.
I only remember the girls doing that, never the boys. I just don’t like it.
I think it’s cute but a little silly. My boys lived through much worse trends than that.

I guess the hairstyle is a trend like boys wearing baggy pants. One time my mother noticed a teenage boy wearing baggy pants. She actually thought he was wearing a pair of his father’s pants that were too big for him. I think she told me his daddy must have died and he is wearing his daddy’s pants to feel close to him. It comforts him.

But my Irish grandparents would kindly tease him for sure. Starting by asking him if his barber is in elementary school.

The show needs a Charlotte! Scarlett is so good at portraying her. Did you notice when she was played by the other girl, she was a pretty well behaved child & Scarlett returns & all hell breaks loose lol. Love it!
I can’t think of one child that I don’t love on the show. I wasn’t crazy about Brian’s Morgan but he was mentally ill.

People showing their age here, lol. Yeah, it’s popular with the teens. And that generation doesn’t have the same concept of “looking girlish” or “feminine” or whatever as previous ones did. They are all about expressing themselves how they want. And it’s all fad/trend/style anyway. Teen boys wouldn’t be caught dead in an '80s- '90s mullet and technically that hairstyle was longer than this one, lol!

Oh right I forgot about him we don’t see him too much. He portrays a great kid.

I guess so, I’m showing my age but I just don’t like the hair style. But regardless he’s a beautiful boy. I’ve seriously never seen a boy with flipped up bangs but there have been some crazy styles throughout the decades. The mullet? That was Billy Ray Cyrus who started that I think. I have a daughter so I didn’t pay as much attention to boys hairstyles as girls but I did look because I’ve always been very into haircuts and fashion.
