Luke Spencer mentioned - General Hospital

I recently watched an Instagram post from John Stamos and it showed Tony Geary getting his new book and he did not look very good in that video. He had trouble speaking and he looked very thin. I don’t know if he has health issues or not but I think General Hospital has pretty much decided not to bring the character of Luke back because Anthony Gary is enjoying retirement.

His husband (Claudio Gama) posts pics and videos of Tony on Instagram every once in awhile but he’s never spoken in the videos and I’ve often wondered if he’s not doing well. Hopefully it’s just that he prefers to not speak on social media.

I didn’t know Tony Geary has a husband…i didn’t know he was Gay. This is new to me. I hope he is well, I know he is well into his 70’s so maybe it’s just old age.

There were rumors going around for years. I absolutely love and miss Tony Geary and wondered if he might come back for the 60th anniversary and most recently for Bobbie’s death so I did a search awhile back and saw posts that he was married to Claudio Gama so I checked out Claudio’s Instagram page and sure enough he refers to Tony as his husband. Claudio is also followed on Instagram by Finola Hughes and Kin Shriner and other actors from GH.

I saw a video maybe a year and a half ago were someone was following Tony around where he lived in the Netherlands (Holland) and kept asking him to agree to come back to GH. He spoke in that video and did not have any trouble. He walked with a cane and it appeared that he was depending on it for support. The person asked him if they doubled the amount he received while he was working would he come back. He replied something like the salary I got was a joke and doubling is a joke. He also said to leave me alone. I don’t remember where I saw it.

I had heard that years and years ago because my daughter has an a friend who’s an attorney to certain celebrities but it was a big secret, he did not want it to be let out. That’s why I was surprised to see it here and that anyone else knew but I guess in 2023 nobody cares anymore thank goodness or at least most people don’t. At least he can be himself.

I should say it wasn’t well known to the general public but I stumbled on this info on line …I didn’t know he had a husband either…but if you go to hubbys instagram the first thing is a clip of tony daqncing in his kitchen from 3 years ago and it says “happy birthday to my husband”

Yeah and not to stereo-type Gay men but I neve would have guessed Tony Geary is gay…he played character Luke Spencer very well. Boy, these days you never really can tell.

I always thought he was gay. He is a very private person for sure. I thought he had bake trouble, like bad back trouble
He had lots of charisma, that’s for sure!!!

It was rumored that he and Liz Taylor dated. So, I wonder if they did the deed?

I doubt it. A lot of gay men love glamorous women so I think she was just good friends with him the same way she was good friends with Michael Jackson.

No rumor. I believe they both confirmed it. It sounded like he was her constant companion with some benefits.

Tony is a gay rights activist, that doesnt him gay. Elizabeth Taylor was also a gay rights activist. Tony has admitted they had a thing back in the day.

Tony has been married for years to his husband. He’s open about it now but years ago people would have rejected him and he wouldn’t been popular on GH like he was. I’m glad it’s accepted now and people aren’t ostracized for who they love.

look up his husbands name…on the husbands instagram the first item is a clip of tony dancing in his kitchen from 3 years ago the captiion “happy birthday fo my HUSBAND” how much clearer can it be that he is gay

and how is tony a gay rights activist?? he has never said anything publicaly about gay rights

I don’t have to look him up, I am also an advocate for the community. I just didn’t know he was married.
