Lisa Hartman was born on June 1st , 1956 in Houston, Texas. The media personality grew up in the Houston area and fell in love with performing when she was a child. She therefore honed her skills at the Houston High School of the Performing Arts and also took part in several productions at the local theater. After graduating from high school, Hartman pursued her career in earnest. becoming the frontwoman of a local rock band called Lisa Hartman and Four Grand. The band played several local venues and had decent success.
