Hammerjacks Closes Doors

BALTIMORE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Hammerjacks, once a Baltimore icon of heavy metal and rock concerts, closed last week after the sale of its building to developers.

The 1,200-capacity club, which was reincarnated in a two-story brick building in 2000, never regained the legendary status held by its predecessor. In recent years, DJ’s spinning dance club and hip-hop music were more common than live bands.
