PITTSBURGH (CelebrityAccess) – The much-anticipated 2024 edition of the Four Chord Music Festival, commemorating its 10th anniversary, has unveiled its dates and initial lineup of artists. Originating in 2014 as a local punk rock festival in a 1500-capacity club, the event has evolved into a colossal stadium-sized 2-day destination extravaganza, showcasing the punk scene’s foremost talents while staying true to its independent DIY roots.
Confirmed acts for this year’s celebration include A Day To Remember, All-American Rejects, The Story So Far, and more, forming an eclectic and impressive lineup. The festival, known for its commitment to independent music, is scheduled for June 22 and 23 at the historic The Carrie Furnace in Pittsburgh, PA. The festival will host renowned artists across the punk spectrum. In addition to those mentioned, the lineup includes Senses Fail, State Champs, Four Year Strong, and many more on Day 1, while Day 2 boasts Something Corporate, Motion City Soundtrack, The Get Up Kids, and others.
The festival founder, Rishi Bahl, expressed his pride in reaching the 10th anniversary, stating, “10 years is a long time. Most things that you were into 10 years ago have not survived, so to reach the 10th anniversary of Four Chord Music Fest is something we are very proud of.”
In a philanthropic move, Four Chord Fest partnered with the nonprofit organization Biggies Bullies, which is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pitbull-type dogs in Pittsburgh and its neighboring regions. Sponsors like Monster Energy Drink, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Captain Morgan also support the festival.
